Hi friends!

If you are reading this, let me first say THANK YOU for visiting my page! This is a new endeavor for me and I am really excited about it.

So, a little about me...My name is Danielle. I'm 31 years old. I am originally from Indiana and made the move across country in 2011 to the great state of Arizona. I live here with my amazing husband, Eric and our dog Rylee. During the week I am a Supervisor at a Mail Order Pharmacy and my husband is just starting out in the Real Estate business.

I have been a creative being for as long as I can remember. I get my love of vintage, country, rustic decor from my momma. In Indiana (and most of the Midwest in general) this kind of stuff was so easy to find! When we moved out here to the desert, I noticed that it's a little hard to find. Lucky for me, I enjoy the hunt!

I consider myself a bargain shopper and HATE paying full price for stuff and will NOT do it if there is a way around it. I love looking through Pottery Barn and Crate & Barrel catalogs and then shopping at Target, Walmart, Marshall's, Ross, and Goodwill to find the look for LESS!! I am a big fan of refurbishing things and making my own versions of things I see and like. Some people scoff at the fact that I buy a lot of my clothes and home decor from "bargain" stores but I just laugh and think "more for me then!" One of my favorite things in the world is scoring a great deal or refurbishing something and then someone says "I love this! Where did you get it?!" When I get to say "I made it!" or "I found that at Goodwill!" They are always surprised!

I own two Etsy shops and am currently planning to combine the two into one. Rustic By Design AZ, and Rustic Home By Design. I make wooden signs out of pallet wood and I also make burlap pillow covers and vintage inspired table linens. I would also like to start selling my unique and vintage finds from thrift stores and antique shops to others who enjoy the same kind of decor and rustic treasures as I do!
